Vinyasa Power Yoga practiced in a supportive, non-judgmental, non-competitive environment. Every body is welcome, regardless of age, size, level of fitness, or experience in yoga. All classes are taught by Susan Derderian, an RYT500 certified instructor.

What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa Yoga is a style that focuses on smoothly moving from one movement to the next. It emphasizes Sun Salutations and aims to synchronize body movements with breathing. Vinyasa Yoga movements are very fluid, and each pose flows to the next with either an inhale or an exhale. At any level, students build strength, increase stamina, create muscle tone, explore balance, and become more flexible. There is also an emphasis on controlling and balancing the breath in order to turn the focus inward and to quiet the mind.
